GUIDED WALK ON THE HILL

Discover the delights of Bidston Hill. From its Triassic sandstone foundation, and its Viking colonisers to its Victorian Protectors. This gentle walk is suitable for the whole family to enjoy (sorry no dogs), and will include a brief look at the geology, the rock carvings, the observatory and lighthouse and the flora and fauna.

No booking needed. Wear stout shoes and outdoor clothes.

Ramshackle Theatre Company Puppet Safaris

Following the enormous success of the Puppet Safari last year, the Ramshackle Theatre Company are returning to Bidston to lead their amazing puppet safaris. New this year will be their Fantastical Forest Safaris. Fabulous family fun guaranteed!

Dates:

Thursday 31st July - Puppet Safari
Saturday 2nd August - Fantastical Forest Safari
Saturday 16th August - Puppet Safari
Wednesday 20th August - Fantastical Forest Safari

The puppet safaris were funded as part of a Your Wirral Grant secured by Tam O’ Shanter Farm, (which is where they start) but they then run over Bidston Hill taking in the major sites and features.
